What is the "worst" Prince song that you love? Much maligned music that I like:
I loved Purple and Gold the minute I heard it - and actually play it. Song of the Heart makes me feel good. The entire NewPOwerSoul album - unfairly dogged in my opinion

I've always enjoyed Arms of Orion. "Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced." - James Baldwin

I love none of Prince's worst songs, but will admit to liking the music of Animal Kingdom.
Batdance is not even close to being a bad song, it's a masterful track -- only Prince could have a hit with what is basically a medley thrown into a studio blender. The track and the movie promoted each other, and the video was a great treat and perfect promotional tool for the movie, with its Batmanified Prince as Gemini. People talked about it and were impressed.

Batdance is a rubbish song, if you can even call it a "song"... dreadful song from a dreadful album, if you ask me.

Diamonds and Pearls. Cheesy love song but love it, nonetheless. "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."
"We had fun, didn't we?" -Prince (1958-2016) 4ever in my life

Alot of people hate Everybody Loves Me but I love it. If you can get past the weird vocals, it's a pretty fun song.

Prettyman. I love the slurping-on-a-lollipop spoken intro and of course Maceo's sax. "The password is what."

. Nothing personal, but I hate you with a burning passion because you've heard that live and I haven't. [Edited 11/8/14 9:10am] "The password is what."

I like My Name Is Prince, Shoo-Bed-Ooh (I like that thick bass line), Everybody Loves Me is fun...geez I have terrible taste.

I'm deadly serious. I love it. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't even consider it a guilty pleasure. My first ever thread on the org was a Everyday Is A Winding Road appreciation thread. That was before I knew what a bunch of sour pusses you lot were, and suffice to say I got a roasting for it.
I really don't get why it's so hated on here. Is it because Larry Graham is chanting on it? It's a great cover. Catchy as fuck chime bells in the chorus and I especially love from 5:08-5:32 ("we gone make it, weeee got new power soul").
But then I love the whole Rave album start to finish. Always have, always will. [Edited 11/8/14 9:46am]

At the Mill City Music Festival in 1999 and a few times at Paisley Park, right up in Prince's face. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

From the grammatical error in the title (it's "Every Day," Prince!) to the Larry changing, it sucks a winding choad. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

I love Arms of Orion. Overstuffed, gaudy, immediately dated, it's so 1989 it hurts. But it hurts so good.

1. I love The Arms of Orion. A classic. 2. Diamonds & Pearls is in my Top Ten of Alltime Favorite Prince Songs. 3. People seem to hate these two here, but I LOVE Cream & The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. 4. Purple & Gold isn't as bad as people make it out to be. 'Heard worse. 5. 1999 may be the most well-known Prince song worldwide but no one here appreciates it! The greatest one-man jam of all time, blows away most of his other funk songs. In my Top Ten. 6. Delirious is always considered 'filler' but I love it. 7. Temptation is a classic, and the 'God' part makes it better rather than worse. 8. LEMON CRUSH . I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but these should suffice. I've always loved most of Prince's work, but I tend to lean more towards his poppy work (which most fans seem to dislike) Maybe do, just not like did before

Yeah, I have horrible taste as well:
I always tend to change opinions on P songs as well, so I might nominate completely other songs later.
