U know how things be, we all know what PR, ATWIAD, SOTT, GB, TGE, TRC, ONA etc. mean but soon when PlectrumElectrum isn't the new album no more it's quickly gonna be very confusing when people randomly mention "PE" in a thread, for we won't necessarly always know which album they talkin' bout.

Planet Earth was first so it oughta remain PE.

I suggest we call PlectrumElectrum PLEC, but that's an open suggestion.

We should use the real names more often I agree. Too many new fans and casual fans get excluded when we shorten the names.

Overall as an album NPS is bad, but at least it has Come On, The One, Wasted Kisses...

Plectrum just has Another Love

and Planet Earth has nothing I like on it...

... Come to think of it. Planet Earth was the first Prince album that didn't have one song, not one song I enjoyed.

Even his "least likeable" albums like Rave, NPS, Chaos & Disorder had a couple good songs on them, not one song on Planet Earth stands out.

Technically, PlectrumElectrum is an associated artist album - so on that board, call it PE

This 'problem' gets worse if we include albums from associated acts. Off the top of my head, TT and TS can be either a Prince album or an album from an associated act (two for the latter).

The answer is so obvious: 3EG.
