'Don't Let Him Fool Ya' -> 'Everybody Dance' by Ta Mara and the Seen .
Would it seem that Jesse Johnson "borrowed"/"recycled"/"referenced" some of the structure from the former for the latter?
.
There appear to a number of clear similarities, albeit assimilated to post-PR mid-80s genericized Jesse Johnson production of course.
.

One other tidbit on Ta Mara (Margie Cox) just found that I never knew...
Cox is a long-time associate of the singer Prince and his band The New Power Generation. In the early 1990s, she recorded more than 25 songs with Prince for a band to be called M.C. Flash, although the album was never released.

.
Margie Cox was also prohibited from releasing music for years because she was under contract with Prince, yet Prince couldn't be arsed to release anything they worked on. All that happened at the same time Prince was bitching about WBR and writing "slave" on his cheeck.

Just so you'd get a little perspective on how serious Prince was about "artist rights" back in those days. © Bart Van Hemelen

Still doesn't change the fact that Prince didn't grant her what he demanded from WBR. Remember "CON-tract" and all that? © Bart Van Hemelen
