Race - full horn line version


I know that an extended version is out there, but how about the version with the complete horns? (Which make the song so much better, although it's already great.)

I have a PA-version, but that isn't very good sound-wise.

Heard that Glam Slam Ulysses version before , it does make the song better. Makes it sound less generic to my ears. The released version reminds me of the theme song to "In Living Color" minus the keyboard new jack horn hits.

But a cool addition to prince's catalog, never the less!

The longer version of Race with horns surfaced in essentially perfect studio quality a couple years ago and is pretty widely circulating on the "10,000 wallpaper" bootleg.

Yes, it's extended but - and I say this without having that bootleg at hand - does not reinstate the complete hornline.

That is correct the 10,000 DOES NOT HAVE the glam slam Ulysess version of race. As far as I am aware there is no soundboard recording if that version only PA VERSION. I had heard in years past a Glam Slam Ulysess soundboard recording was going to circulate but that never came to fruition. And I don't know why smh.
