Now that is ... random.

You have more chance winning the multi-million pound lottery than having this playlist played during the next tour (or ever).

Correct me if i'm wrong cool

Let's Go Crazy
Musicology

Pop Life

Clouds (dropped from the set after the 3rd show)

Stratus (maybe "Boomstratus" on a good day)

Cream

Don't Stop Til You Get Enough / Cool

Everyday People

Take Me With U / Raspberry Beret

Purple Rain
Disco Heat

Little Red Corvette (slow version - dropped in favour of "Guitar" after the first leg)

Guitar (if LRC is dropped and "Guitar" is played instead of it, "Guitar" will be played again nevertheless)

Nothing Compares 2 U

Kiss
Baby I'm A Star

Pretzelbodylogic

Dreamer (1st verse)
Funknroll (remix from DAT - Prince has already left the building)

Somebody yells "Bambi!" from the audience - gets listed as the final track on bootlegs.

Prince is most likely going to tour to support PE,AOA, & Purple Rain reissue (if that happens) so i'm going to make a hypothetical set list for that tour. Going off of things P has played the past year as well as things I would love to see him do.

ACT 1:

Let's Go Crazy Reloaded

PRETZELBODYLOGIC

MARZ

Bambi

-Piano Set-

The Beautiful Ones

Moonbeam Levels

How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore (Alternate w/ Adore and Nothing Compares 2 You)

A Case of U

The Breakdown

TICTACTOE

I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man

Funk N Roll

Plectrum Electrum

She's Always in My Hair

Little Red Corvette (Guitar Version)

ACT 2:

1999

THEGOLDSTANDARD

Computer Blue/Fathers Song Reloaded

CLOUDS

U KNOW

-Acoustic Guitar Set- (instead of sampler set)

Alphabet St.

When U Were Mine

Sometimes It Snows In April

The Cross

U Got The Look

When Doves Cry

ANOTHERLOVE

I Would Die 4 U (More like the Extended Mix version)

WAYBACKHOME

God (instrumental) leading into PR

Purple Rain

there will be no AOA tour just a series of HitNRun concerts all over the place, consisting of 2 tracks from AOA (Clouds, Breakdown) and the 6 or so tracks from PE that he's been playing for the last 18 months (PE, Pretzel, FunkNRoll, Anotherlove, Marz and Fizurlifeup) and the usual hits

She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?

Ok, this ain't going to happen but what about a concert in 3 parts (fill in specific songs)

Part 1 with 3rd Eye Girl

Assorted rock oriented songs, tons from PE, ends with kick ass version of The Cross

Part 2

Prince acoustic set, playing various hits---expanded verion of what he did during Musicology tour

Part 3

3 song encore with 3rd Eye Girl...Purple Rain, I Would Die 4 U, Baby I'm a Star

Second Encore

Jughead (the New Master)

Okay, I couldn't resist the last one...just can't get enough of making fun of Jughead

All good things they say never last...

From Essence:

The seemingly ageless star (who actually turns 56 next month) says one secret to his success is that he likes to keep his musical life spontaneous and challenging.

"'A real musician is always in creative mode,' Prince says.

He picks up a butter knife and starts cutting the air with it. 'That's what I used The Revolution for,' he says, making a cutting motion. The implication being, they were sharp. Fearless. The baddest, best-rehearsed band in the land.

'But ask them to do what we did tonight? To improvise? There would be a problem. That's what I love about this new arrangement. The energy. They're in the moment.'

He pauses. 'I'm not putting down The Revolution, even though people would love to see us together again. I owe a great debt to them. But I'm doing something else.'"
