Charity, the gift that keeps on giving (Love4OneAnother related)

This post is simply to inspire, because you never know the impact a small act or kind word has on others, and ultimately, how it comes back around to you.

Someone named Angelscribe runs a newsletter of good news/miracle-type stories and she's been at it since the mid-90s.

Back in 97, one of her readers had a rare type of stroke that few recover from. At that time the Love 4 One Another website posted some of the angelscribe newsletters as well. Long story short, the woman's mother got in touch with L4OA and the charity hooked her up with a special computer so she could have some connection with the world. As a recent version of Angelscribe's newsletter states: "when she got the computer she could hardly sit up or move, ,

but it motivated her so she would struggle for hours typing with one finger... reaching out and helping people that have had similar strokes who didn't know what to do."

She's recovered and still helps other stroke survivors all these years later, leading support groups and motivating others, thanks to her unexpected source of motivation.

OMG, I fucking hated L41A.

It wasn't even a properly registered charity.

All I ever saw from the thing was the attempts at "incorporating" other websites at the time into itself. And, those annoying ass email "experiments"asking folks to send in their bootlegs, etc. were creepy. I hate, hate hate hate hate that period in his career and the damage it made to the once thriving online Prince fan community.
