Short, imo.:

1978 (For You) to 1988 (Lovesexy) - including the Black Album:

I would love to buy this Cd-boxset.... remastered. wink

Never mind the 90s albums.. (although, it would be nice if they would have bonus material).

I agree 100%
All albums 1978 - 1988.
Special attention given to Sign O The Times, 1999, Controversy and Purple Rain, with outtakes presented in a bomb 10 Disc Collectors Edition!

SOTT always stood out as sounding like shit on CD...especially on The Cross.....but yeah they are all very average sounding up till around '92.... that said, I have a lot of vinyl that I don't ever play now so yeah, I'd definietly buy the remasters

I hope the new masters have bonus material but with Prince's stance on his back catalogue I don't really hold much of a glimmer of hope... the only real authentic vault material we'll hear is when Prince is dead and buried...and by then he will probably have left it all to rot in the vault and we'll never hear it in pristine sound quality....

the evil bootlegs he hates so much will be the only reminder of what he didn't want us to hear... which for him I guess is the way he wants it....

but he changes his mind as often as he changes his girlfriends so who knows what is in the works....

probably another split with WB's soon and burning more bridges with the people who pay for his work
