Contradiction? Prince? Really? News to me. I mean there have been some tiny reasons that might make someone think that, but they are all REALLY a BIG STRETCH.

"I'll never play the hits again." (Plays the hits again)

"I'll never work with a major label again" (Works with a major label again)

"Crystal Ball will only be available online or through 800Newfunk." (In stores before orders filled)

"You have a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to my website." (Multiple Ripoffs on websites, and adds further insult to injury by having 77 tracks on 20Ten to symbolize the 77 dollars he took for website)

"Downloaded music has no soul, and poor sound." (Puts out tons of downloads, some in very poor quality, or mastered so loud the soul is taken out of the song.)

"I'll never play 1999 again." (Plays 1999 again)

"Real Music by Real Musicians" (Constant use of backing tapes in the same concerts he claims to be playing only real music, and even has a karaoke section of most of his concerts from 2007 on.)

"I don't sue my fans." (Several Fans sued, some for valid reasons, some very questionable.)

Now, I admit, these are not really contradictions...these are just TINY, SLIGHT variations of the truth. None of these would EVER really make a fan mad or anything...these are BARELY worth mentioning...I just had to really think hard to NIT PICK a little bit.
