Hi

I'm totally in love with Prince's live version of "The Ride" from a show in London in mid 90's (I guess)

Prince had curly sideburns and the video was filmed on stage, following Prince pretty close up. Very artistic and nice

I believe the show was even aired on MTV at the time

I'm eager to find the video for that song. I have seen it many times in the past. It rocks. Prince made an amazing solo that even Jimi would nod to

Prince was not present much at that show. As I recall, it was mostly gospel/soul/funk jams with other singers etc.

I just don't know what to search for (tried a lot)

Can you help me locate that show/video?

PS: can I link to an audio recording of that song here or is that a no-no?

It has floated around the on bootleg dvd in EX quality under the name : The sacrifice of the undertaker (ladybird)

But it is not bootleg. It's a recording of a show that was on TV

Yeah you might be able to find old copys on ebay maybe amazon?
But if i like a copy on dvd.. its out there

As it was officially broadcasted, I don't see any problem (not bootlegging)

The show was an official home video release. It is possible that it was broadcast on television.

You should look elsewhere if you are asking for a copy.
