Name any two things, no matter how large or small, that you would want in regards to Prince music.

1. Instrumental versions of every released track.

2. Wally

7 CD sample set announced in 2000 or so and never released.

Crystal Ball 2. 5 disc set. Perfect quality outtakes. Including full quality full length Cosmic Day.

Shockedelicus

  1. A Rave Unto the Joy Fantastic leak. I find it really surprising that this hasn't been done yet.
  2. A proper release for the major 80's vault tracks. Electric Intercourse, Moonbeam', IALRWNL, Dance with the Devil, etc. New records are cool, but everything we really want is in the vault.

Good quality video of all his LIVE concert performances from 1981 to 1996.

ANY quality video from just one show of the "Fire It Up" tour when he opened for Rick James.

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

God that would be amazing, the surviving soundboard show is incredible, the band at the point was so full of energy and eager to prove itself. But do we know if such videos exist? I know there's that thing about him supposedly recording every performance he does on video, but would he have done so at such an early stage in his career, when he was a support act? Sorry, don't mean to sound cynical or that I'm doubting you, genuinely curious about this.

Pffff.... That Wally track was erased, wasn't it? So there's no way we could ever hear it! And maybe it wasn't that great at all. Who knows? Nobody ever will! Stop worrying about it! Get over it!

Apparently Prince later recorded a less heart felt version with the lyrics changed so as to not be so personal, kinda similar to Old Friends 4 Sale in that regard.

1. To see a small venue performance that rocks til dawn
2. "Prince Unplugged". An all acoustic album. Piano, guitar, vocals.
3. A concert movie of "Prince Unplugged".

I know we only get two, but I'm greedy.

I think you were probably asking for existing recorded music--but what I listed would be more thrilling.

each album 1979-2000, remastered and expanded, with an extra disc purely for

outtakes or tracks recorded during that general era. at least 8 unreleased songs

per release smile [so about 150 unreleased tracks in total]

so it would be kind of like a remasters series and an unreleased anthology sort

of thing all rolled up in one. just release 1 every 3 months, starting january '15.

pray

if all that is too much for now, i'll just take the "madrid 2 chicago" album smile

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

1. The Roadhouse Garden album (preferably in awesome sound quality, but I would be beyond ecstatic just to have it, period, regardless of quality)

2. A clear studio piano recording of "Father's Song" that isn't just an audio rip from the movie. I wanna hear just the piano with no ambient noise -- no squeaking door, no walking down stairs, etc!

I can see why people are so interested after the way Susan talked it up! I'm also curious.

For my picks I'll also say good quality live shows (even just one from each tour would make me happy) and a full video collection on dvd/bluray
And for him to put out a new unreleased song every week until we have the whole vault. smile

Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh!

I have seen video of the "Fire It Up" tour but it was from before Prince joined it. pout So I do know that at least some of it was recorded and have high hopes that somewhere out there, is the Holy Grail. lol

This, but I'll expand it to the 2013 shows. My greatest dream would be that each show of each tour would be offered as a DVD or a download and a video of each song from each show could be purchased individually as a download for .99 cents. That way, I could finally do with good quality video what I've been doing for years with bad to fair/good quality video, which is taking each tour and combining various songs/performances from different nights of that tour to get the best songs/performances of the entire tour on one show. And, since I'm dreaming, he could offer the shows as CDs and individual audio downloads as well so that I can do the same with the audio. I know that I can rip the audio from the video, especially if the video is good quality, but I'm thinking about the fans that love the live audio more than they love the live video as I love the live video more than the live audio.

As someone else mentioned, something like the Bob Dylan releases would be AMAZING.

but if I had to pick just 2 things it would be.

1) Big deluxe over the top box sets for Dirty Mind - The Gold Experience - With outtakes and demos, extended/alternate mixes, booklets about the albums, Concert footage (with aftershow footage), etc

2) Allow his music videos and live performances on Youtube

Adorecream

1. Remastered copies of all albums from Dirty Mind to Lovesexy, especially Sign o the Times.

.

2. Official release of all the 80s outtake masterpieces like Neon Telephone, Go, G Spot, Xtra Lovable, Electric Intercourse etc.

.

Simple little things that will please the masses Mr Nelson. Please don't put them in suspended animation for 45 years. Can u hear us Mr Nelson.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

The engineer of "Roadhouse Garden" was quoted as saying he was relieved Prince abandoned the compilation because Prince was basically tinkering and ruining every track by adding bells and whistles to all the songs. So, maybe its best to just add the "Roadhouse Garden" tracks in their original form to the "Purple Rain 30"/"Parade" Remastered, etc.

Then again, if its something the fans want, Prince will definitely not do it. That's the way it works.

The full fantasy includes him wearing....wait for it...a t-shirt and jeans--like holey, worn out jeans. Perverse, I know. I love the frippery all day long, but the heart wants what it wants.💜
