You lost interest in two mostly-really-good albums (particularly Art Official Age, in my view, which I think is excellent) because the attendant creator/artist of those albums didn't make a music video or do any TV promotion for those albums?

And judging by the almost-instant dismissal of some tracks, and the instant rearrangement of tracks into 'better' configurations of the albums, when they were only days old, it seems that many people

here have the attention span of a fatigued gnat.

And we wonder why Prince can't be bothered to promote them? Why should he when we can barely be bothered to listen to them properly without passing judgment?

licenced the new music to the NFL

OK, so, er... you DO realize that PROMOTING an album is a stunt that's aimed at getting NEW people to get interested in it and purchase it, don't you? That's it's marketing, that the purpose of it is to sell more copies to more people? No you don't. OK. So basically it's what I said, promo vids and TV appearances are being done with this in mind: enlarge the audience. They are not meant to entertain the people who ALREADY purchased the album because, well, those people are supposed to, well, er... it may seem odd to you but they're supposed to LISTEN to the album at home once purchased, and whether their interest for said album lasts 6 month or fades after 6 days is really a very personal thing, depending on how much they like the album. But the promotion of an album is not really, not at all in fact, expected to get people to keep listening to the album, not for that matter buy it AGAIN because usually once you've bought a record one copy is enough. So, huh... you've lost interest in 2 albums you have just bought because they are not being promoted on TV, but if they were promoted you'd listen to them everyday... Er... OK, that's a first... So basically does it also mean that if you buy a food item and don't see an ad for it every day on TV afterwards you will let it rot in your fridge? Yes? And you only feel like driving your car when it's being advertised on TV, because when it's not driving suddenly becomes a boring and painful experience? Yes? OK. Er... Have you ever considered seeing someone, you know for, er, emotional problems?

Ive lost all interest in this post already!....i mean, c'mon....you havent made a video or done any radio promotion.......if it was me i would have at least made a poster...weve all got crayons ....and no offer of a nice cup of tea either! schoolboy error!

would not be surprised if Prince has already lost interest.............I bet he would rather just move on then to try and play this shit live.......he has really hit rock bottom in the creativity department with these 2 new records
