Is it Me or Does Fixurlifeup sound Nirvana-ish This track has turned out to be one of my favorites on PE, but I can't help but think that it feels like a Nirvana-ish groove/vibe underneath it all. Anybody else get that?

It has a typical "grunge" guitar sound, if that's what you mean.. Change it one more time..

I'm not sure if I have the correct song as I've only listed to these cd's a few times, but that song reminds me of Jack White.

If anyone says "Prince sounds like Nirvana" three times in a row, the End Times will arrive.

Odd question: Do you think working with backing musicians that were... barely alive... in Prince's glory days, let alone Cobain's glory days... Do you think this may have allowed P to be more receptive to integrating such an interesting homage?

It sounds more like turds splashing in a toilet bowl with too much water so some of it splashes on your nuts and you're all like oh shit I got shit on my nuts. But it might just be me. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Why do you hate Nirvana? "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Absolutely - considering Donna's influence, I imagine Prince revisited the Nirvana grunge scene prior to recording this track.
I love this song! Prince really put it in with this one - those bass chords are too fat!!!! Love it!!
Too bad the record is so inconsistent

i said this as i listened to it. Not when we first got it but when the album was released...strange i like it more now than i did before.

Why would Donna's influence cause Prince to revisit Nirvana? Have you seen her youtube videos? She is NOT a rock person.

Me too.. it fits the flow of the album well, and the production of the song actually sounds better than quite a few of the other tracks. It's a pretty solid track to me.. Change it one more time..
