Wally and Greg. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't know who he should have fired...but he should have found some way to hire a Kennedy or Dolores Claiborne or Mayor Quimby...a new englander... to speak the intro to Let's Go Crazy. THAT would have been CLASSIC.

Brownmark had those sick gospel funk grooves down cold. No one could play them like him. I always thought Shiela E's 1984 band was overall tighter than the Revolution.

Yeah they were and the Time was killing them in terms of in the pocket funk grooves but the Revolution was really good at being an entension of Prince. People go crazy over Wendy and Lisa and their contributions to his music then and they did contribute a lot but my feeling is they always 'painted with the same strokes' if you get what I'm saying.

Prince. The Revolution was much better without him. The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Yeah, I loved The Revolution. Kinda reminds me of Sly and the Family Stone. Sheila E would have made a nice blend in, if she didn't have her own band.

Yeah, the Revolution had that mystic arua that the other bands didn't. It was kinda replicated in the Family.

There are probably people on the org that really think that. The wooh is on the one!
