uk art official age / plectrum promotion

Pretty shocked just been in hmv and was told they weren't stocking the albums, yet are stocking every other major release wtf is happening with the promotion in the UK

Planet Earth and 20Ten.

HMV were not pleased that a major artist decided to cut them out and give his albums away with newspapers. It's possible this is the backlash.

If it's an album they can make money on, they'll stock it. The HMV by me certainly has lots of copies in.

Fair point. I've since looked and it is listed on their website.

Prolly some noob staffer that hasn't heard of Prince and searched the computer for Prints and found nothing.

Right I've checked another store both in Glasgow and it's not there surely they printed enough copies that's embarrassing!

Bought mine - both albums - in HMV (Bristol) yesterday, had plenty on the shelf, plus was playing The Breakdown whilst in there.
