Anotherlove cover or co written? Is it easy to dissmiss Anotherlove just as a cover song or can we say that Prince done a new song inspired by Alice Smith song ? Reason i say this because it sounds very diffrent, diffrent vocal melody ,harmony and the cooles lyric part is the one written by Prince . You know the part where he sings The house we used to share now is haunted ,expire. Prince wrote a whole verse that is not on the original song.
btw Anotherlove alone kicks AOA booty,its not because i love rock more,its because it have that Prince energy and despair and cynicsm that is almost forgotten in his recent music. | |

Certainly nothing more than a cover... It's no differnt than him fiddling with lyrics in I Can't Make You Love Me.

Cover. Just like how Sinead covered Prince's song, but in a different version. Either way it is clear Alice's version of 'Another Love', was apparently an inspiration for Prince's version. Also, a few months back, a clip of Alice performing one of her songs, was posted to the 3rdeyegirl twitter page, when Alice's album titled 'She', was released. It's clear Prince and 3rdeyegirl are fans of Alice's music.  Their version of the song is nice too. | |

Really? Thats a classic Prince line. Reminded me of the "I hate you" courtroom drama. "I might be a so and so but I'm the greatest living so/soul you'll ever know".
