This is the highlight of a great album.

This is definitely one of my favorite songs on AOA. It's been stuck in my head continually, in a good way. It's a gorgeous melody, great vibe, and beautiful vocals. And people here were saying he couldn't sing anymore. This fucking place... "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

This one definitely snuck up on me - it's replacing Time (which just goes on too long without enough variation) on my combined tracklist

After all the bashing on me you still see I was right once again ! Prince didn't played any song on AOA, and I even predicted he will play only the songs, but that he was not going to sing on it. Why? Because he has contractual obligations, but AOA is utterly crappy. You were supposed to leave the org now, but you didn't have the "bravery" and intellectual honesty to take the bet. I had this honesty. It's obvious for anyone serious that Prince fucked WB with all this releases, and that he didn't care about. Instead, and as usual, he made promotion for another upcoming album, NPGQ. So please now leave me alone with your sarcasms, you will joke on me the day I will say something wrong. You must feel very ridiculous now, with the post I'm quoting.

No, I dont feel silly at all. On the contrary, the event was still promotion of sorts, albeit somewhat strangely acted out. The simple truth remains that AOA is a strong album and should do well enough based on that alone.

I'm "trolling" about how I hate the albums as much as you are trolling about how you love the album...And maybe less, you made more posts than me since the release of the album. So your assertion is again, inappropriated. If WB know what are they doing, please ask this simple questions : - Why still no music video for the 1st single, six days after the release of the album ? - Why still zero airplay for the 1st single, six days after the release of the album ? - Why still no promotion on tv for the albums ? - Why still no performance of prince for AOA, and only one song from PE ? - Why WB organized a worldwide promotion event about the 2 albums, that turned into a promotion event for songs that are not commercially available, and is actually a good kick in the ass of WB ? - Why, since Prince made it straight that he won't be involved in the promotion of Purple Rain, not having released the album on june, when all the medias were celebrating the 30 th anniversary FOR FREE? You really think they're gonna celebrate it a second time in the same year ? Again your assessments are utterly crazy. In the real world (to use your expression) things are not going that way. They made Prince sign a contract in order to sell the purple Rain releases first, then other re-releases. They didn't care about the two new albums, but they were ready to promote them, because if they are flop, it would affect negatively the perception of Purple rain. But when they saw Prince wasn't going to be involved in the music video, and that it won't never be ready for the release, they realized it was game over. In the end, they're gonna release a reedition six months after the initial buzz, Prince won't move his little finger to promote it, and it seems now more and more obvious that prince didn't allow them for unreleased stuffs, except extented version. But Prince's gonna make cash from PE and AOA, he got his masters back, he won on every points. It was the duty of WB to contractually oblige him to do the work. He fucked them by throwing 2 tracks from AOA instead of performing them. And again, he didn't even choose the "hit single Funknroll". He fucked WB until the bones, and it's embarassing because WB wants to death to release PR. I was wrong on only one thing : i predicted PR will be announced on september, 30, to make the buzz. Still no official announcement, and it was supposed to be released at the end of november. It is more likely now, it would be released on december, and that a problem occured recently with Prince and WB that causes a delay. lol WAY BACK HOME, though the best track so far on the album, never reach the peak the listener expects to. Moreover, and this is what saddens me, in every track of the two albums, it sounds like many artists could have done the same thing, if not better. Listen to forbidden colours from Sakamoto, you'll understand where Welton got his inspiration, in term of melody and production. Way back home is always on the same tempo, with the same 4 or 5 little notes to form a melody. And the same could be said of almost every tracks from AOA.

Those who said P can't sing anymore are talking outta their hole. He sang some of the best renditions of classic ballads I have ever heard throughout this year, during his stint in the UK. PLus, anyone who heard him sing A case of U at the Roundhouse will agree that his voice is probably better than ever.

Me too, this is a priceless song. A fuill cream, sexy ballad served up with falsetto. Take that Jehovah's Witness brainwashing money churches. The Prince of sex and fun is back. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Based on the lyrics, I'd say Andy. "Ain't ready 2 go steady, ain't ready for us." She seems to have vanished from the inner circle. "I know u're loving ur freedom, cuz ur freedom is paying ur bills." When Andy split, she went off and worked/toured her record by herself. It's all hearsay of course. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

Can't say I'm addicted, but this one was a sleeper for me. First impression was that it was kind of a generic by the numbers Prince slow jam. Then I listened to it again. And again. And again. And, damnit, this song is catchy "What kind of fuck ending is that?"

I'm curious, and this is in no way a dig or whatever - I'm sure I read you saying on here you weren't sure you would even buy this album after hearing Clouds and U Know - how you feeling about it all now? So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

When the snippet came out I was expecting another Princey been done wrong by his woman ballad but there's more to it than that, some interesting lyrics. Great song, love the little subtle guitar solo at the end
