AOC - The Track "We need you to tell us what you know..." (trickling water sounds)
Hmmm... is he being water boarded?
Also... on Way Back Home / Affirmation I&II, that stomping sound seems like an ultrasound heartbeat or facist boots... [Edited 9/26/14 13:22pm]

[Edited 9/26/14 13:22pm] I actually had the same thought 10 mins ago - if someone is being water boarded. It makes me smile the way he repeats 'we need you to tell us what you know.' It's a bizarre track that's for sure, the Ibiza like intro and horn is hilarious. . Someone mentioned Tony M rapping on it and it does sound like Prince doing an impression of him. Would have been brilliant if he actually got Tony to do it just to send the org into meltdown

Too funny. A couple of days ago I posted the backbeat sounded like a spacey ultrasound heart beat. I love it. It's hypnotic. "The password is what."

The most horrible track prince ever recorded. He obviously tried to copy The Black Eyed Peas shit music, and he succeeded. It really sounds like one of their shitty songs, even the female sounds like Fergie. I avoided their music as good as possible, and now my favorite artists throws this garbage at me.

Were you performing at the time?

I don't mind 'Art Official Cage', but in places it sounds like the Oompah Loompah songs in the Johnny Depp Charlie And The Chocolate Factory movie.

All the different dance music genres blended together in a stop and go frenzy w/the spoken sound clips reminds me quite a bit of Batdance, actually.

I love it, except for the rap. I'm going to edit that out. .

Granted, I can't bring myself to listen to her album... but my first thought upon hearing this was Carmen Electra's album...

Funny it sounds like P is saying "woke up on the shitter in a bit of a rage" The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

It is like the musical equivalent of being water boarded. I like the album - but this song goes in his hilariously bad stinker folder. [Edited 9/28/14 16:12pm]

Yeah, I definitely hear it as a reference to water boarding. Plus there's also the play-on-words about "blowing" (up?) Lady Liberty. There's a few references to the terrorism in there. Probably my favourite song on the album so far. Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

Now, this is absolutely exemplary, I wish you could stay to give some quitting lessons to some folks who only come here to vent their frustration week after month after year after decade.

Yes, thanks for showing people like for instance Bart how it's done. He even puts on his profile that he is NO fan. Yet after all these years, he still comes here, wastes his and our energy by writing things we can broadly define as 'non-fanish'.

A horrible track. Only just bearable if you consider it as just an intro. It has the worst elements of house music - even a klaxon. As bad as anything Will.i.am would spew out.
