LETS GET PRINCE ON THE ITUNES FESTIVAL IN 2015 So the iTunes Festival has been on this past month, and I have to say that I have enjoyed some of the acts this year. Some of my favourites so far have been Beck, Ryan Adams, Lenny Kravitz and Kylie Minogue.
It got me thinking. I know Prince hasn't always seen the internet, social media and iTunes as a friend, but in some ways, these are all essential tools for artists to market their music in this current day. I wonder if Prince has already been approached by iTunes to perform at the festival. If he hasn't, is it perhaps time he was?
The iTunes Festival has a wide range of acts covering many different genres, from mainstream pop, to classical, to jazz, to hip hop, to country, to rock, to electronic and just about anything else in between. It is a very good way to expose your art to the "iTunes" generation particularly.
My personal opinion is that Prince should do it next year if asked, what do you all think? What songs should he perform during his set if he was to do it?
I would like to see a good mix of his biggest hits along with some rarities and obscure tracks, along with some new songs and perhaps even a cover or two.
Lets get Prince on the iTunes Festival for next year, as I think he would be an absolute highlight. We all know that Prince rocks it on the live stage. | |
