Clouds... its in my power to love you

I haven't got access to the new album yet but I adore this track.

The "it's in my power to love you" refrain near the end gets me every time... how hard must it be to record a part like that and not then go and record an entire new song based on that part?

Just incredible artistry.

I agree. I have loved Clouds from day one. The chorus spoke to me instantly. My wife also. The chorus while seemingly not fitting with the topic is one of those Prince quirks. Think Sign of the Times. "Let's fall in love get married and have a baby... We'll call him Nate". Lol!

The song is incredibly funky and feathery at the same time and the intro is absolutely killer. KILLER

Clouds really is a one of kind track...Love it!

I love this song Clouds.

I said it was a classic from day 1, I gave it 9.5/10.. cool


it's maybe a little too high... but, even a little funny:


the dear KingSausage eventually agreed with me, maybe not so high a score (I don't know about that), but he said it is great... after a few days being very critical - in doubt. I guess "it grew on him" - this song... cool.

I believe most of us can see now that Clouds really is a good song, maybe even excellent?

Agreed first thing I thought ,that part of song merits a song based around it .
