Camille voice - live? Can the Camille voice be recreated live? Technically? He did the Darth Vader voice on the ONA tour, so perhaps why not. The wooh is on the one!

just like in the past, i think he would sing in standard register.

Sure. You just need a pitch shifter. It won't necessarily have the same appeal as what's heard on the 1980s records as that voice was done back then by slowing down the tape playback speed, recording the vocals at that speed and then speeding the whole thing back to regular speed. Pitchshifters tend to sound a bit harsher in overall, but for live purposes very few would notice the difference.

I think Camille is created by speeding up tracks, rather than just pitching them up. I've changed the BPM on anumber of those tracks and they've come out sounding perfectly like Prince. I've tried changing the pitch, however, and the result hasn't qute been the same. Something missing. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

If u change the pitch and the formant it can probably be done. I've never tried it though. I can dial up his BoB voice no problem. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.
