I'll say this again...Warner Bros. Entertainment (the movie studio, DC Comics, etc.) the company doing the layoffs no longer own Warner Music. When the music biz imploded most of the megacorps sold off their music divisions (Universal to Vivendi for example). Only Sony kept their music operations. Warner Music is now owned by Access Industries and their only link to WBE is a royalty-free license for the WB name and logo.
