Holy fuck : I heard Prince on ALL THIS LOVE

This is not a joke :

At about 2'50/55 Prince is clearly heard on the background. He says with the Bob george'S voice "deep enough", covering the voice of Brya Valente. I listen to it with the mode "incredible surrond" on my CD reader, so what is usually hidden in the mix can be easily heard sometimes.

We knew he sang a duet on Elixir, and he whispered some lyrics on the track 9, but I think I made a discovery here.

Maybe Prince is heard elsewhere on the album ? What do you think of that ?

I listened to that song 'Elixir' that one time. I sometimes wonder if i'm missing something brilliant Prince-related by steadfastly not listening to Bria's album in full.

.

I'm also tempted to buy a Buffy ouija board purely cause i love Buffy The Vampire Slayer so much, but i have nagging doubt it wouldn't be a wise move.

The actual song Elixer is one of the best things Prince did in the last era.

he's on all of them. instruments, producing, writing. not sure why a stray vocal here and there is a "holy fuck" moment for any one.

I think it is one of those songs people overlook because of the context it is presented in. I consider it classic prince and find it as vital to prince catalog as many older songs.

Seems to be typical of this website nowadays, a bunch of obsessed Prince fans posting inane bullshit and stating the blatantly obvious. As you have said, Prince virtually produced the album, played most of the instruments, wrote most of the songs, really, the only thing that isn't Prince is the female lead vocalist.

Maybe I could join in the stupidities and start a new thread entitled "Bria Valente Sings On Elixer?"

Can't say I don't enjoy the song.

I think ure correct. Its context puts unwarranted, false shade of darness on it.

It sounds like a TRC song...its naughtiness being the the only thing keeping it off the album. Y, me mucho gusto el rainbow niƱos!

But principles (good or bad) keep me from listening to it. Its my hole...I'll live with it.

You misunderstood totally. Everybody knows the album is produced by prince, what's new with that ?

I clearly talked about prince being heard vocally. It has never been stated before. Maybe Prince is heard on another tracks, so i asked the question.

So, maybe you could stop the stupidities as you say, and start answering the topic instead of bashing me and this piece of information.

I don't honestly know if I ever though "oh that's prince" but yeah I've always heard it and just didn't pay attention for it was expected for me to have him put some vocals here and there, but i've listened to that album to death back then so it probably explains why I've heard it.
