HOW FAR WILL YOU GO...

Before prince his outspoken religion, that is put before us more and more, will refrain you from bying his (new) music.

TRC is great and I tend to listen to it as I would to any other religious or semi religious music. But the link to a very questionable cult as the JW's, the statemets on his website, the changing of "possible offensive" talk on his chatroom etc... makes me hope the whole thing doesn't go overboard.

If his records turn into a flatout financial support for the JW's, I won't be bying his music anymore.

so; will you stick to him forever, or what's your limit??

PS; I know there has ben some discussion about JW being a cult or not. In europe they are considered as such, so I just start from there.

I don't like his new-found faith at all. I have nothing personal against people of faith, but I do not appreciate it when they try to ram it down ur throat.

If he persists in releasing TRC styled albums I'll simply divert even more money to getting bootlegs (which is the main reason why I still follow his out-put anyway).

PS - Am alone in thinking this JW thing is just a phase?

I think I would check out a gospel album if he put one out there. Most of his songs now are kinda that way anywayz. I bought a album with that kind of gospel feel to it because it was ex-npg'rs "Sons of Almighty. It was cool.

I dont know what I can say about this one ... If all he talks about in his new music is JW stuff from now on ... i think he will lose much of the small fam base he has left ... what happened 2 .. God is Love? .. DMSR ...? I have much love 4 Prince and I support all kinds of stuff he puts out as long as it stay ALL KINDS and not ONE KIND ... TRC grew on me .. But Sometimes it seems as if he is trying 2 create the sleepiest Ballad EVER and Who wants that award ... ?

poplyfe

What realy surprises me is that even in this age that people are still being judged by the religion they practice. Religion does not make the person, religion gives the person guidance to walk a path of realative enlightenment. I am not here to say that I support his religion or not I just want to here the tunes of a supercalifunky guitar.
"and ye harm none do what thou will"
horns guitar
life it aint real funky unless its got that pop.

Therapy

I say, the man will be, what the man is. He will go about his business and life.

Do the same for yourself.

If you look real hard, you'll pick up on something to pick at. Maybe that says something more about you then he.
