I'd post pics from PE booklet... but... can't understand how i can do it...

The coolest thing about that post is to see that WB and NPG logo on a Prince CD again. I hope it's the start of something really special!

Don't kidding me, the music is available on I tunes, if you absolutely want to buy it.

If you buy a physical copy, you expect to find something you don't have on the internet such as the booklet.

I almost started a new topic until I saw Militant's. So yeah, I visited my local music store just now only to ask if they'll be getting in both albums on 9/30. Holy shit it's not even a real plactic packaging but a digipack !

Shame on WB, they really tried as most as they could to save the costs.

Could be. Or maybe Prince wanted more environmentally-friendly packaging. I could see that, being the control freak he is. lol I don't care if they both came wrapped in a potato. I'm just glad they're in my greedy little hands!

Digipaks cost more to manufacture than the plastic jewel cases.

The slim "digisleeves" are cheaper than the jewelcases, but if there's a plastic CD container glued to the cardboard then that's usually more expensive to manufacture.

I switched back to vinyl a couple years ago, but I can't even remember the last jewel case I remember buying. Digipacks are pretty standard these days.

Now that's fantastic, as it's the same kind of excitement I got as a kid at the record store... and that's how I want to get these albums! Nice.

Funniest part about this whole thing. Where I live, there's not even a record store to check in with (only a Best Buy. And they even look at you like you're a weirdo if you ask them for a CD)...

I know what you mean. That's why I like to buy from local, small retailers when I can. They still really appreciate their customers!
