If you look at it that way with the Purple touch ruling that list #1, sorta 3, 4, 8, 10 that is definately a reason Prince was ruling in the mid 80s

Who's this "all" you refer to? I don't think I even know that song.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Then you are both blessed -- quite a few nice tracks in that top 100 you may not know.

I'm not clicking through a 100 pages on Rolling Stone's website. Fuck that. RS is a shitrag that doesn't deserve the traffic.

I don't read RS, but the list is nice, a few songs I had forgotten or did not know. Plus for sure 1984 was a great year for pop.

You are able to jump directly to the top 20.. without "clicking through 100 pages". And... even though you may not like Rolling Stone they are still "a force" in the music industry.Pretty impressive to see this new list with 5 Prince (related)songs in the top 10. You have to admit that's impressive, to see Prince & The Revolution get that kind of praise... right?
Prince 4Ever.

notice the 3 prince songs and the one by the time have no videos! LOL
As far as I can tell all the other 96 songs have a video! (i am a bit surprised the Glamorous Life has one)
I can not see a video for 32 Queen, "I Want to Break Free" but that seems to be an error loading.

Tell them to stop mailing me copies of their magazine which I never ordered! I haven't had a subscription to RS since 1982.

I love it that Borderline is #2. That is an amazing song and a truly overlooked one when you consider all the other great Madonna songs that came later.
Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
