hey everybody! this one's gonna be tough.
what is your fave set of prince's groups?

examples:original set"Prince,gail c,dez,fink,bobbyz & andre
group two:lisa,prince,dez,bobbyz,andre,and fink
3:wendy,lisa,prince,mark b,fink,bobby z
4: the extended one:all of the previous revolution people
plus miko,jerome,wally,brooks,eric l,susanah and atlanta..

you guys know the rest of his groups...
what would be your fave?

i'm havin' a COW trying to pick my fave...cuz there's
good points to all of his various groups!

group 3, definitely. I miss Wendy and Lisa's harmonies. They brought a certain magic that has never been replaced in P's music.

I think his ONA tour band was the best he ever had...
Keep on growing...
But I don´t like the trombone thing (sorry Mr. Greg Boyer!)

All of his bands were first class.

from a visual point of view i'll chose band number 2:
prince,dez,lisa,fink,booby z,and andre.

they were the coolest looking group. what were they new wave,punk,rock...love the way they looked on the LET'S
WORK extended single.

now from a musical point i'd probably chose the
sign o times SET:
prince,sheila,levi,miko,fink,boni,atlanta,cat,and eric.

they were jazzy,funky and i loved BONI's pipes.

man...the all-girl band idea is DA bomb!!!

I would love to see the All-Star Lineup of The Revolution again (w/ Eric, Atlanta, Miko, Wally, Jerome, Brooks) but Sheila would have to be there, too!
