Ho hum....Prince releases 2 albums..Art Official Age--strange title and the tracks you can hear so far are the same ol retread stuff. So sad. Plectreumelectrum i can only hold hope that is better. Even so we know radio wont play either and any hype will be gone in a month if that.

i know will some say how could i say this on a Prince site but everyone knows his muse has been lacking now for YEARS..... i accept artists change and he is not trying for hits anymore and thats cool.......but it also means i dont buy the trash anymore either. #Freetheprincefans

What?! Sounds like you haven't heard any of the AOA stuff apart from Breakdown. Of all the things which could be said about it, retread certainly isn't one of the criticisms I ever expected to see said.

Some Orgers are just working on auto-pilot when it comes to criticizing Prince...And i agree. Whether people like the Art-Official stuff that has been leaking is on them. But the last two new tracks released ("U Know" and the "FunkNRoll" remix) are anything but "ho-hum" Prince. In fact, this is far and away from his sound as he has gotten in the last 10-15 years.....
