Not sure I've heard or have that version, but I love the Purple Rain tour version. Pretty sure it wasn't played regularly on that tour, though. TRUE BLUE

i havent personally got this version pf Head, but i have got a video and audio version of head from his Parade tour birthday show in 1986 (i think) and i love the intro - "none of that same shit, who wabt some head" (i cant tell the intro word for word, so im guessing its that).
and off topic, but late 2013 i was OBSESSED with "Animal Kingdom", i cant see how its dubbed the worst song by anybody ever. eye dont think U heard me . . .

I love those periods when he toured the current album and mixed in previous songs that worked with the set and previewed new songs

I thought this might be about the live version that Lionel Richie did earlier this year. "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

I only have 2 of those versions. One from SFO, not sure which date it is, and the other one is from the Worcester show. I only ended up keeping the rare songs that were played from a lot of the Purple Rain shows, since the Syracuse, Miami, and Atlanta shows are all excellent in quality.

The lyrics may be iffy on Animal Kingdom but the music is pretty good. To me...anyway
Funky funky bleu cheese!

I like the Lovesexy Tour versions of Head, especially the extended jams at the end that would mix in different other songs like A Love Bizarre and Holly Rock.
