I enjoy this song. I'm still trying to find a mix I can put it in. It's midtempo so it can go either way. Has a lot of Prince quirks I like. "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..." | |

I find it pretty damn weak. The quality of the outtakes took a serious dive around that time. Maybe it's just because he switched gears (literally, as in the equipment he was using) and couldn't rely 100% on the stuff he could do well previously. I understand there was a need to move on and try out new things, of course. | |

This isn't recently leaked. It's been out there, you just have to search for it. Off the top of my head I don't recall which boot it's located on, maybe someone else can. It first appeared on the "Perfect Unreleased Prince" set in 2012 that was said to have been the reason for the "cancellation" of the "Connections" release. Then, Eye Records put it on their "Blast From The Past" release soon after. |
