Parade was where I was going to stick it so this is interesting. I'll try the same... Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

i stuck it here: a collection of official material and outtakes from the 85/87 period that didn't have an album home yet: . 01. The Rebirth of The Flesh 02. Dream Factory 03. Splash 04. Good Love 05. A Couple More Miles 06. Wonderful Ass 07. Neon Telephone 08. An Honest Man 09. Sexual Suicide 10. Make Your Mama Happy 11. Visions 12. Crucial . 01. Old Friends 4 Sale 02. Hello 03. She’s Always In My Hair 04. 4 The Tears In Your Eyes 05. Moviestar 06. A Place In Heaven 07. The Ball 08. Train 09. Shockadelica 10. Love or $ 11. In A Large Room With No Light 12. Power Fantastic . 01. Witness For The Prosecution 02. All My Dreams 03. Feel U Up 04. Girl o’ My Dreams 05. Can I Play With U? 06. Baby Go-Go 07. Alexa de Paris 08. Girl 09. Last Heart 10. Others Here With Us 11. Adonis & Bathsheba 12. Crystal Ball . it's just a work in progress and it needs a lot more work and sequencing changes, but i really enjoy listening to all these bits and bobs from those times in an 'album' fashion instead of having to dig them all out from the release they were or weren't on each time. it gives for a nice experience, like a whole other 'lost' crystal ball type release. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Incredible to tink that all of those are non-album tracks! (Yes, I know that some of them ended up on the Crystal Ball collection, but still) The wooh is on the one!

Love it. The music and lyrics sound very inspired. Although it walks up to the line of sappiness, it manages not to cross it. So...sorry, Susan Rogers. You be wrong.
This isn't one for the masses, but it is a masterpiece to his more enlightened fans (IMO). I wish Prince would bump his head and somehow revert to his mindset during this musically fertile period of the 80's. Yes I'm that desperate. "The password is what."

exactly! there was just so much good material coming from this era. the ultimate 3 disc set for this would be compiled somewhat like that great "The Dawn" set for Gold/Come era tracks. but i'm not good at editing or such. but if someone were to take all these tracks, including the outtakes in their best possible quality and mix the whole thing to run smooth, it would be a-ma-zing. there's still a small glimmer of hope that with future remasters we will get even more 'new' tracks and get some others in better sound quality. the possibillities are endless at that point

Hey, I'm more than willing to say I have it because you mentioned it! Way to go!!!
Seriously, thanks--whether you get a sticky or not, if you know something (even if it's just a hint)--say so.

Great music and arrangement (as I would expect from 1986 Prince). Not mad on the OTT vocals and lyrics, too many vocal tracks, with the end effect being imo overly sappy.
Still great to have in full though . I'm not one of those who is majorly down on modern Prince music, but this track does make you wonder whatever happened to 'that' Prince and wish we could have him back, or his modern equivalent at least. He must still be in there somewhere .

Why on earth isn't this thread a sticky?????
I decided to include on my dream factory album. It did mean changing running order and spreading it over two disks but I think it fits really well. I've only included the out takes that have excellent sound qualitity which meant leaving off I's a wonderful day, teacher teacher,In a large room, neon telephone and Go. I don't think these these are quite up to scratch in terms of sound and it shows when put up against the other songs. Anyway this what I came up with. I had to do a few minor volume adjustments as some tracks I took off Crystal ball were much louder and I adjusted the volume on Adonis up a bit. Disk one Dream Factory Train Splash Data Bank Girl O' My Dreams I can't stop this Feeling I Got We can Funk Sexual Suicide Last Heart Make Your Mama Happy Disk two Rebirt of The Flesh Witness Movie Star A Place in Heaven Adonis and Bathsheba Strange Relationsip Crystal Ball Power Fantastic Crucial ( Crystal Ball version with a fade) Others here with us Old Friends 4 Sale All My Dreams. Sure it was my thread, and I don't really care, but as far as newsworthiness, I think it deserved one. As long as it didn't have a link to the song, it is legal to discuss bootlegs. I sure think this song's leak is more deserving of a sticky than the next 20 Listening parties for an album that may never get released.
But I do have a theory that any thread started by me has no chance of getting a sticky!
I got in trouble for going toe to toe with a famous super negative fire starter here, so my days on this site may be numbered anyway.

Having said, hanging out the proverbial hairy ass of an outtake leak sticky for the Royal Torts to sniff is not the most practical way to run a Prince fan site. It's one thing to get hit by a train by accident; it's another thing to stand directly in front of an oncoming one and dare it to hit your narrow behind.

Its great! Quirky tune decent enough and non skipable. It would not fit on any recent album for sure. It fits within that era. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Is it just me or does he say something at almost the very end? With all the guitar feedback popping off and everything. I like to think he says "Thank you, Justin" For all time I am with you, you are with me.

Fuck me. Of all the unreleased tracks I've heard since 85 I've never heard even the sample of this song.
Now that I've heard the entire track I'm floored with this classic MASTERPIECE. Yes. I said it!
I'm so bummed I missed the opportunity to enjoy this as unreleased track back in the late 80s. The guitar solo is simply classic P. WOW! Its worth it just for this solo alone. I miss these types of solos from P...effortless and neverending.
This song is clasics UTCM and rivals Pink Cashmere and thats hard to do.
[Edited 7/24/14 16:00pm] The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

I also think this leak is worthy of a sticky but I understand why it's not. That being said, the more I listen to this song the more I like it! Very nice arrangement. Love the guitar solo. Yes, it reminds me of Parade. It sounds almost Clare Fischer-ish. I wish Prince was still this ambitious with his music today.
