Supposedly it comes from a tape that is used by executives and Prince to solicite said songs on the tape to other artist to use. ex. Cosmic Day for Madonna, Lust U Always for Robert Palmer, etc.

You're probably right, but I don't see who he could have solicited Adonis and Bathsheba to. It's the kind of song than only Prince could pull off.

I've played this song over and over now. I kept saying 'I've heard this music before'. Then it dawned on me that it's Mayte's "Mo' Better". Adonis and Bathsheba being the better of the two! What a brillant piece of art! Such imagery!

I just hope you don't have "Bart Van Halen" disease where you absolutely hate every single track no matter what...where you no longer "listen" to new music, but just "hear" it. There's a huge difference.

The difference is in the music.

If you can't like The Dance, Fury, Reflection, Call My Name, A Million Days, Future Soul Song....then maybe you should move on...but I hope not.
