However, there's no mention of an expected ship date. As I understand it, most companies don't (or can't) charge your credit card until an order ships. Was your credit card charged? I love PRINCE, but the love is always in the details -- especially when dealing with loyal fans. Same reason he no longer does normal tours. He doesn't have to. He knows he can announce shows last minute and people will jump on a plane and cue in long lines. | |

Customer support just sent me an email, wherein they apologized for the delayed response and stated the item will be shipped on Aug 12th. Let's see what happens. | |

Yes, I was foolish enough to buy a Purple Rain mug and pay the exorbitant shipping fees. I ordered the mug on August 15 and still have not received it. (My credit card was charged $28.25 on August 18 -- $15 for the mug and $13.25 for shipping.) I have e-mailed customer service multiple times -- no response at all. I should have known better. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? I guess my next step is to dispute the charge. The customer service is so terrible that it's almost like they're doing it on purpose...or, more likely, they don't even care. I love PRINCE, but will never understand his business practices. Most artists learn from experience, but it seems history just keeps repeating itself with him. | |
