What the women do after that is a result of the bad parenting that enabled them to believe Prince was husband material.

And these women tend to be fame/wealth junkies, especially after having a taste of it. They probably feel dissatisfied with a regular joe and clipping coupons, and feel they are alpha-male arm candy material and find it difficult to settle for anything "less." So they keep hanging around places where they might meet and hook another celeb/rich dude.

I don't know how Sheila E got lumped in with these other exes. She earns her own living and has prestige in her own right.

in Vanity's case,we don't know if he ended that relationship,or if she did.She walked away from the Purple Rain movie because they weren't willing to pay her what she thinks she deserved.That probably spelled the end of her romantic relationship with Prince.
