i don't think it's completely undeniable, imo that statement is arguable. first because treating someone badly is intentional, which i don't think prince does to his fans if he really even notices us at all, and second because different people can experience the same event and come away from it with differing opinions about what happened.

i would say that at times prince's business model could use a bit of a tweak

I tend to agree with that, but then there's always "P.F.U.N.K." It's certainly undeniable he wrote that after getting PO'ed at some Prince.org posters!

There's too much assumption in this post. His behavior dictates a person that for good or for bad and sometimes at any cost likes to keep his options open and to live in the moment. So sometimes that will mean aftershows where he's on lead the full time, other times he may give the spotlight to his entourage. From things his band has stated it seems they may not know what they're going to end up doing until very shortly before they're doing them. That doesnt point to intentional manipulation (i.e. disseminating false information to intentionally draw crowds to things he may not perform at). Not dismissing that that could be the case on rare occasion (because it could be theoretically a possibility). But there's nothing that Ive seen to warrant the assumption that this is anything but a consequence of his character.

The exclusive tickets that we all got with our extremely affordable Lotusflow3r memberships were graciously provided well in advance of the album release at an extremely reasonable price considering evil corporate retailers like Target and Best Buy barely stocked the album and charged such high prices for, for such an extended period of time. The free downloadable and exclusive content posted on that website was all given out with relative ease and was so fan-friendly and interactive. That t-shirt was shipped with laser speed, will always fit, and will never go out of style either. I feel so proud when someone asks me "Wow Prince must really love you fans. Whats it like to be a founding member of Lotusflow3r.com?" I say "Blessed".

These successful, honest endeavors are what make being a Prince fan a truly special, wonderful experience for all of us.

That in a nutshell is why I would visit the org but not attempt to post cause many of you take any action by him and act as though they were personally against you. I don't love everything that he has done but Im a big enough admirer to just watch and wait and see. Im not a big lover of his new band but that has more to do with being a fan of Mr. Hayes. Without him in the band I almost became uninterested in any of his new stuff but it's still Prince. I will be leaping at the opportunity to purchase his new music and listen the same way I always do. Love the songs that get me immediately and let the rest of the songs grow on me. Lol
