It's feels sort of psychedelic to me. OP has Delirious in his list so i'm thinking his idea of psychedelic is not too strict. I got two sides... and they're both friends. | |

True, I don't think Delirious is psychedelic... seems more like a synth take on old fashioned rock n roll.

I would argue, that from 84 on a lot of his best work has strong psychedelic elements. Think of the trippy vibe and Theremin-like sound at the end of "If I Was Your Girlfriend", the tablas and sitar in the original "Strange Relationship", the slowed down cymbal and eerie (barely audible) synth in "It", the whole of "Crystal Ball", effects & instrumentation in "Scarlett Pussy", weird Crystal Ball string sample in "The Future" etc... | |
