March 19, 1996 - the Girl 6 soundtrack was released.

This was an odd, although actually quite entertaining soundtrack. I would have loved more unreleased tracks, of course (who wouldn't?), but it was a fun random collection.

She Spoke 2 Me, Don't Talk 2 Strangers, Girl 6 - interesting tracks. And it was good to have Nasty Girl and Screams Of Passion on CD too. I would have liked to hear Oilcan on here too, since it was in the movie and adds a different feel (plus it's only 42 seconds or so).

Thoughts on this album?

1996 wasn't a bad year. Girl 6, Chaos And Disorder, Emancipation. Quality aside, that's 5 CDs in one year (ok, 4 brand new, one partially-new). Maybe he should squabble with a record company again. It seems to work out well for us.

I wish they'd get Girl 6 out on DVD! It's one of the very few of Spike's films not yet out on disc.
