I would pay for the music. If its free then i will make a donation. This is only because P is making good music now in my opinion. Its not Purple Rain but its not bad either and if something like Breakfast Can Wait was on the solo album I would be even more willing to pay. I just want music that is WORTH my money and I know I should be able to get that from Prince. Like said before, some albums didnt strike us when they first came out but after years of listening one starts to really dig and appreciate the songs. This Could Be Us But U Be Playin...

I would certainly pay for his music! I like the idea of letting people give what they can - for me it's not even the same amount every week, sometimes I have a little more to spend, sometimes I just can't afford extras. Somehow I think that's more fair than paying for what you judge "good" or not... After all, the artist has spent time and energy to do it anyway... You pay to support his artistic journey instead of buying a product. NPGMC was somehow closer to this model, even if it was him who decided the amount to give. I still think he should refresh that idea, it was brilliant.

How are the pancakes? And, since by his own account, he's better at omelets--why's he giving me pancakes? I want the good stuff--I'm a guest, ain't I? . Now, if he were more like Amanda Palmer, I'd be having him over to play a gig at a party at my house. Does he want pancakes?
