Dream Factory vs Crystal Ball

Regardless of whether you view these albums as just a collection of songs, or a more cohesive statement, which did you like most?

I prefer Dream Factory, I'll explain why later.

Crystal Ball, I admittedly 'own' neither but have heard about 5/6ths of the tracks on both and Dream Factory does not hit the same chord Crystal Ball does for me.
Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. We are Sexually Frustrated what we R... Amen..!!! - zelaire

TRON

Dream Factory might be my favorite Prince album had it been released. The combination of songs are better together. Crystal Ball is nothing but an over-long Sign "O" the Times. The concept doesn't interest me much. I'm glad the Crystal Ball album came out like it did - as a total mishmash in '98.

This concludes all the points I was going to make, Tron. Interestingly, I also concur with you on how the Crystal Ball album eventually turned out.

Crystal Ball. for one simple reason - it's longer, and in this case - since the material is all first-rate - bigger is better.

Was "Dream Factory" to be credited as Prince & The Revolution or were they both after the breakup?
