No. The afro makes perfect sense and it fits his subtext of trying too hard to please white audiences during his rise to stardom by playing down his afro-american roots.

It looks like he got his teeth fixed at some point... smaller gaps and his front teeth are even now.

No, it's definitely not and it really irriates me when people say this because he obviously works hard to take care of himself. It wouldn't matter to me if he did but I really don't think he's touched it.

I think he has. Not by very much but there is a definite difference.

Right.

I also think he did a small nose job somewhere end of the '70's/ early '80's. You can see it quite clearly in these pictures.

It's the angle. When you have straight forward, well lit pictures, you can see it is still as wide as it was.

That's because he'd already had it done, in the first picture. So yes, they are the same there. But if you look at the pictures I posted. It's quite apparent. He didn't have much done and he had it done so early on, no one really noticed.

It's possible he still had some baby teeth. I lost two baby teeth at 22 and 25 and I still have six! lol

Impressive pictures. He has certainly aged very well indeed. If he has had any 'work' done over the years (bar the obvious teeth fixing), it's been minimal/ very well done.
