I dont know about holiday but where I live, today it is MJ day and they are playing all of MJs music on the radio. But for me today is a celebration of MJ and Purple Rain. I will be playing both of them today..but mostly Purple Rain.

But honestly, I heard lots of Michael Jackson on the radio yesterday. The 30th anniversary of PR seemed to have passed relatively unnoticed beyond fans and a few articles (written by fans). Shame.

Another incredible person just gave me another tickets to bless both winners!!!

I want to thank the other Prince Fan for thier outstanding generosity and they're loving spirit. Thier only desire was that the second runner-up could have the opportunity to attend also!!!

I can't but feel like Prince/Warner Bros let a golden opportunity slip by. It's not often something is still remembered and loved for 30 years! I feel they really should had their sh*t together, and released the 30th anniversary deluxe edition of Purple Rain on it's anniversary. I'm starting to worry, this is becoming another one of those Prince projects that never was...
