"Diamonds & Pearls". Don't ask me why. They both have some
cool songs. But the ones on D&P that are decent seem also
more timeless. The whole o(+> album sounds dated and bland

Except for "God Created Woman" and "7" there is not a whole
lot to like on that one.

To me, the symbol album is the better one. smile

There's a whole different atmosphere on that album, which gives it a superior feel.
I would have included all segues, though (and why did he perform the segues live, anyway?).

TRON	In answer to your question, I think D&P is the better POP album. Without regard to genre or category, I'd give them about a tie though.

beats D & P for me. Diamonds & Pearls had some great singles, but as an album it had more junk than average.

Infact, for the best of Prince on 'one single CD' of the 90's - I'd say it's a toss up between prince

& Emancipation Disc II.

D&P was better as a "pop album", but o(+> was a far better and more interesting artistic statement...

I'm gonna have to go with o(+> ... Over the top, pretentious, and patchy, yes...But some of the best artistic statements are. wink
