...bore?

Is the unending stream of cryptic notes, vieled statements, and obtuse announcements starting to expose Prince for what he really is? Dull. This kind of behavior was tolerable once a year come album time, but the consistency Twitter affords makes me think he's got something wrong with his personality.

Hate to say it but, if I met him at a party, I'd probably be looking over his shoulder quick. Mix it up, dude. It's all bit one note right now.

You only noticed this since he started with Twitter? Not much seems to have changed as far as I can tell. Vague messages, saying one thing doing something else, changing his mind etc. All seems pretty standard as far as Prince is concerned.

Prince isn't any more boring than anyone else on Twitter. The mistake is tweeting so often. The tweet just now where Andy McKee pokes fun at Prince a little bit does show that he is humble and can laugh at himself though I think. It probably isn't Prince anyway - it could be Hannah, Josh or anyone in the camp.

And that tweet has just been deleted! The constant tweeting and then deleting can't be called boring. Annoying but not boring.

If you don't like it don't follow it. Most people prefer to get updates (even if they're not always of interest to everyone) than to not know or hear anything from him until he sends something to Dr. Funkenberry for media consumption.

p.s. personally i love the cryptic thing. the world is chock full of advertising which repeatedly, repetitively, blatantly, boringly and obviously states the obvious. i love the hints and clues he uses instead

Right now, a Prince tweet is either something incomprehensible or a glowing review from Donkeydick, Delaware.

As I mentioned earlier. Be interesting. Don't make it all promo. Talk to us. Show us your personality.

Truth is. Prince and Twitter don't mix. He'll probably dump the thing soon anyway.

Yes because ones personalitty can be defined via twitter? Perfect things to teach our kids. I find this post a bore and a waste of time. Judging by the excitement and buzz prince gave London, 6.2k tickets sold in four minutes, his twitter and prince related accounts are 'poppin', fire hot. He needs no help on that front.

Are there still fans who think Prince is interesting, articulate, cultured person you would want to pal around with? He lays it out in his work, and on stage, I think that's where the best Prince is. Maybe a very select few get to meet some insightful, friendly guy, but I still don't think being a normal caring person in real life situations makes him particularly interesting, even if it's interesting to objectify Prince like he's an alien.
