Big City Amongst all the confusion about what is going on (if anything is going on at all) Big City has sort of gone out of the radar. And I really like that song (both the live version circulating out there and the snipet we heard some time ago). Does anyone think we will ever get the full studio version of the song? (And I am aware that nobody knows, but if we start speculating it might remind Prince about it and he might release it in a whimp...) | |

i believe (over the last few years) he has been working on various projects (3EG, NPG, solo stuff, movie/broadway music? etc), most of it never came to any fruition, the downloads and rehearsals we got were the tip of the iceberg - hopefully the best stuff will emerge on the new album(s), but a lot of it will be never heard from again.
you may think that is a shame, but Prince has always worked on far more material than could possibly be released (100 songs for Purple Rain?). with the case of his best albums the long process of removing.adding new songs to a project has been a good thing (PR, SOTT, Gold Experience)
