WHY would you make a fake unreleased P track? I just got another damn fake unreleased P song.
Ok, let's ignore the ethical issue of "getting" the song. But WHY would someone go to the trouble of writing a song, recording the song, and then put it online as Prince - with NO kind of credit to yourself? I mean - at least, half way thru the song, I woulda said "THIS AINT PRINCE, IT'S BUBBA HONEY LOVE" or whatever so if the listener LIKED the song, despite it being a fake... the person could come find more music by you. But no - these morons are just making fakes, OBVIOUS fakes, embarrassing fakes, with no way of at least getting credit. Maroons. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Maybe folks just make them as a homage, and then they are passed off as Prince tracks by someone wanting to make a fast buck? --------------------

But there ain't no fast buck on Kazaa - that's why it pisses most musicians off. So - it's just - uhh, to show it to your friends and laugh? Idjits. Hey now - fakers aren't that bad. That OH SHEILA song really rocks. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Possibly, the person who put it up for download THOUGHT it was Prince, just as people seem to think "Stuck in the Middle With You" is a Bob Dylan song. There are so many mislabled files it's ridiculous. People are just stupid sometimes. There's a rift out in space, and it could be the door, but you know I'm not sure.
