Purple Reign - Prince Tribute Going to Las Vegas later this year, and have seen that there is the Purple Reign tribute act at the Planet Hollywood hotel.
Basically has anybody been, what is the setlist like and more importantly is it worth seeing?

Haven't seen it in Vegas, tho they do still play there, but just saw them in Indio CA this past Saturday night. Lots of fun, and decent selection of songs (I'm sure they played less time at the show I saw since it was a free event at Fantasy Springs Casino). Pretty much they play all the hits up to the mid 90s. Some of the unexpected songs were Strange Relationship, Erotic City & Peach. They even have a couple guys come up as Morris & Jerome & do several Time hits. Overall, a lot of fun If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya! | |

When I saw Prince & 3rd Eye Girl in Vegas in 2013, I checked an app on my phone of the best tourist attractions to see in Vegas, and these guys were #1! But I didn't have time to go and see them. Next time I go to Vegas, I'll hopefully check them out. |

Me too! I saw them in 2011 I think, at Hooters. It was a lot of fun! it was cool to see a Prince show that felt like it was 1984. I managed, accidentally, to get in free, so it was well worth it! I'm not sure how much tickets were. I wandered into what I thought was just a bar dance club in Hooters, and it turned out to be their show. | |

I've seen them twice in Vegas, once at the Boardwalk (which no longer exists) and once at Hooters. Jason Tenner does a great job in the role of Prince and his band is not 2 bad either. The setlist will vary, but there will be plenty of hits. The last time I saw them which was at Hooters, they also had Morris Day and Jerome Benton impersonators as they did some classic Time tunes like Jungle Love and The Bird. They are no longer at Planet Hollywood (after May 18th). DOes anyone know where they are now? I will be in Vegas the week of June 9 and I want to check them out!
