Trip to Nice, France. UTCM locations? headed down to Nice and would be interested (and kinda cool) to checkout some of the places the film was shot. Of note: - the opening aerial shot (I know it's near the French Rivera but that's a long stretch of land) - where his car pulls up during Christopher Tracy's Parade - that little shopping area where he and Tricky are walking and they venture into the pub of bats
that's about it. thanks, if anyone has any ideas. (I searched Google and nothing came up, other than "shot in Nice, France.")

Forgive me if my answer is vague All you have to do is go towards the sea and you will see a lot of familiar sights There is a park (name strikes me) that's at the top of a hill There you will see where the love or money sequence was shot Along with the opening scene minor keys and drugs don't make a rollerskate jam | |

hey, thanks all! I went to Google's street view and found the street and the location where he pulls up in his car at the beginning of UTCM (where he throws the basketball to the kids).
And yes, just walking along the French Riviera I'll most likely see a lot of the features.

Make sure you go to the park And check out the market right behind the Main Street by the sea. It was amazing for me being such a fan of UTCM. minor keys and drugs don't make a rollerskate jam | |

The Sharon mansion is the Villa Eilen Roc, not to be confused with the Hotel Eden Roc, part of which was used for the scene where Christopher and Mary dance together for the first time. The Belle Époque rotunda at Beaulieu was used for "Le Pavillon". It is very close to the main road from Beaulieu to Nice, and easily photographed (you can stand on the very steps!). The building used for Christopher and Tricky's apartment is close by the flower market. Have fun, I'm sure it will be a great visit!! Beautiful part of the world.  | |
