Noob Question- Will it be possible to get albums signed this week? Longtime fan, first time poster.
After not realising hit and run part one happened in Feb, till the following month. I was gutted. Then I managed to snag a ticket for Manchester this coming Friday! I will finally get to see purple one....
So ... Does Prince sign anything for fans? Does anyone know what hotel he will be staying at in Manc? Would he be annoyed by fans asking him to sign albums?
In short is there any chance of my Prince CDs ever getting signed ? | |

From what I hear he dosn't leave his hotel room much. He travels with a small footprint (no pun intended), so even if someone gave you the info you want, you would think you got the wrong info. His touring crew used to stay at their own hotel (tha'ts probably changed from tour to tour). You won't hear a lot of stories about people bumping into Prince in a hotel lobby, or candid pictures of fans catching him while on tour outside the theater. Best to just enjoy the show. | |

You never know. Now that he owns his masters.... Right place right time. I don't suggest stalking him tho. He will just run from you.  Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

What is it with you Americans and this "stalker" tag thing!? . I LOVE hanging out in hope of getting my favourite artist's autograph. It's part of the whole tour experience. . I dont do it often, but Im glad I did it when P came to Aust in 92. I got to meet the entire NPG and had the best time doing it! . Am I a stalker, just because I want to meet my fav musician of all time!? Pfft. . And please dont start with the whole John Lennon thing. Time's have changed. Now's it's practically impossible to meet a famous person without a couple of bodyguards by their side. Yes it was an absolute tragedy, but to compare all fans to Chapman is just ridiculous. . BTW. I live in Australia and guns arent sold at 7-11's so that could be why we think differently. [Edited 5/14/14 18:10pm] | |

Not challenging you on the Lennon thing - or sure why you brought him up defensively, since I don't see anyone making that argument, and a lot of us are collectors sensisitive to wanting an autograph...but.... very few celebrities use bodyguards regularly, and they are vulnerable to incidents...unfortunately, getting an autograph from a recluse does involve some stalking. . You don't sound like the type to get discouraged anyway. | |
