Recently I have obtained the Mavis Staples album "Time Waits For No One" on vinyl.. I've had this album on cassette when it was released and later on CD, but JUST recently on vinyl and this song just REALLY HIT me while hearing it on vinyl and FELL head over heals with it.. On Vinyl.. this song just is AMAZING....then I went on Princevault... and they leave WAY too many clues. and I'm convinced Prince HAS at ONE point recorded his own version of this song.... The thought to hear the original leaves me speachless..... can you Imagine~!~

Why stop there.. HOW about, "I Guess I'm Crazy".. OR EVEN "Time Waits For No One".. Ahhhh those songs are So sublime~!!!

AHHH that 4:15 breakdown with low end strings...and Eric on Sax.>CMON!!! That's the ish!!!

It's a safe bet that for anything Prince wrote (completely) there's a version with him on vocals.

Well there's no ambiguity about the fact that P recorded his own version of the song and Pvault is clear with that, I don't understand what this is about?
