Did Prince film Under the Cherry Moon in black in white cos he thought he was better looking than in colour?? Do u think so?
do you think a narcistic side of him came out? I certainly think it may have had something to do with it!! Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

true it was filmed in colour,i beg your pardon
i think he said it was because he was wanting to get a feel of the old love storys from the 30's and 40's,that he released it in B&W. But was it... I seem to remember a tabloid running a story around the time of filming, that Prince threw a right tantrum because a Rolls Royce used in one of the shots was not purple - and, of course, he wanted purple. So, filming was delayed whilst the right colour car was sourced.
Naturally, the tabloid thought this ridiculous, as the film was to be released in black and wight! I have no idea how true this is! ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
