Could easily be about Warner Brothers. Breakup in 1996, Breakdown over the following 18 years, Breakthrough a few weeks ago with a landmark, potentially precedent-setting agreement. |

The conlcusions ya'll come to sometimes on this board crack me up. Gotta love rampant speculation. Prince is probably laughing his butt off right now at all the panties he has in a bunch over that tweet.
Although this tweet has everything to do with the new warner deal, why not add to the fire, here goes my completely fictitious speculation.
The new Prince album has 10 tracks, all starting with the word "Break"

I've read estimates that Prince's album sales while with Warners were around 50 million, so the 54m could refer to 54 million albums sold.
